get a motor saver filter before ur wreck your engine. thous filters are sh*t and let in dust and dirt in ur engine.

+1 An oiled foam filter is much better for these engines given the enviorment they are usually driven in. Plus you can't beat the motor saver design.

yeah that is definetly a good deal. and i agree those filters are for regular cars. not nitros. i would definetly change that ASAP! get a motor saver filter or put some oil on that one if you dont have the money to change it out just yet

would a FOC kit make my revo any faster?
thxs so far everyone keep it comin

Yeah it will make it faster by removing a lot of weight from the chassis and reducing rotational mass in the tranny. It also makes the gears stronger since the output gear in the FOC is twice as wide as with reverse.

yeah....what he said lol

i have the FOC in my revo and you can definetly tell the difference

that truck is not a 3.3 my friend it a 2.5 with a 3.3 engine but still is a revo not bad

i was told it was a 3.3 tht kinda makes me mad. to late now though anything i need to worry about with it having tht all tht power with 2.5 stuff

no if its a 2.5r chassie i know with my 2.5r i order 3.3 parts.recently i broke a hub that connects the rear axle to the differentials.at the hobby store they tried to give me a new one it was wrong cause they were looking at the old 2.5 the only real difference is that 3.3 is longer, thats all.get the integy locking diffs they are $10 a piece you need 2.they drop your speed a bit but they make up for it in control and fun they make it totally different.go to traxxas.com for the exploded views and part #'s

it should be find there only 4 stuff u need to get to convert it to a 3.3 unless u want a full blow 3.3 the trans case would need to be added i got a 2.5 in a trade and ran the truck pretty good but converted to a full blow revo race truck
