i finally broke something on my savage today and wouldn't you know it was too ate to go to the hobby shop. broke the camber block. i had just put it back together after i put bearing in the steering and took out the front dogbones to do donuts. took a full speed hit against a c channel to break it but it was fun. now i got to hear the wife complain that i have to spend more money on it cuz i already spent 35.00 today. and it
 
hahaha thats pretty funny, i have not broken any thing major yet on it, i have stripped a couple of gears and thats it! :tank:
 
i am suprised it has lasted this long before breaking something after the cartwheels and end over end flips. it was just a matter of time. not to mention the ditches

Take it to a work bench in the garage and make sure you're door is always closed and you're back is to the door, that way you can hide and disguise your work. Just say you're doing "maintainance." Anything mechanical and most women are lost, mine is.

BTW, she doesn't have to know how much you spend. That's only the case if you decide to buy a new car or truck out of the money saved for groceries or other important stuff.

First off, glad I don't have a wife. Second, if I did, she'd be happy it was only $35 in damage... I mean they don't call me the master of disaster for nothing.

That'll get him a minimum of a night on the couch if he gets caught or worse, divorce court.

Married with.... Yamaha R1 (tricked), XR650L (tricked and racked to carry my Savage to the MC track), YZ490, (old but kickin), and Ski boat for ALL. The wife is happy with a $35.00 crash and look MA "NO STICHES". That remindes me, The Co-Pay for the Emegency Room is $50.00.

Been doing it but not just with r/c stuff. Also, get rid of the receipts. Shred them if you can, burn em if you must! :beer:
 
The trick is to get the kids into RC's to because then it is a father and child relationship building thing .....or even better get the wife into RC's also. At the worst case just give her the same amount of cash to get her hair done or something.
 
final count on total damage done. broken upright, broken bulkhead, broken diff case, and bent hinge pin. not too bad
 
Dude, how fast were you going when it hit? Holy crap. I beat the snot out of mine (major stuff is all stock) and I've yet to break one of any of those parts.
