First drag car!!

First I tried to sort out my traction issues going to bigger wider tires. I also think my current weight forward distribution maybe too extreme. So today I removed the ounce of lead from the very front, and stacked an ounce and a half all the way out back to get it to hook up better.

Unfortunately, it's New England and the snow is here as of yesterday. Doubt I will get many chances to make any more attempts for a while.

As those snow leaves preparations have begun again....new belted drag slicks are mine!!!

New wheels mounted up today, some lifting of the body mounts, a little trimming work on the body all done today. 1 issue up front to sort out and it's ready to try again. There must also be paint....shell is still clear atm. I am getting there though.

Last problem with the drag car I believe to be sorted.....now it just needs paint and I think it's done. Unless there are new problems after I drive it....

I have a hair dryer....think of it like nitrous for guys who can't build a motor. It's gonna be fast,lol
