Ok, i am really confused here. Whenever i go to a site like ebaumsworld, it is always asking me to download a plugin to view the video. Then when I click it, it says "unknown plugin" so i click manually install plugins. I installed every neccessary plugin, and none of them seemed to work. Can a firefox veteran please help me here and tell me how you got yours to work? Thanks a lot!

For that site I had to install MS media player. Once you do that, disable popups for that site.

I click close on the error message then media player pops up with the video.

for media of any kind, I had to go to microsoft.com, search for "media player plugin", and install the netscape plugin (yes, I know... different name, but it works). After that, it worked like a charm.
