RC Driving Style
i have finally got my clutch and slipper pads for my tmaxx, i can't wait to run it later on if it dont rain. i am so excited i havent drove it since my dad gave it to me, so this will be the first run.
 
yes it has the xtm 24.7 and today i was running it at medium speeds and then i decided to floor it and it cut off on me so i tried it again after i restarted it and it cut off again, is this a needle setting or is it the clutch. i put a mip clutch in it.thanx.
 
Sounds like a tuning problem. Did it have lots of smoke coming out or was it barely smoking? Was it sputtering at all while driving? Need some more info...
 
when i was driving it it had a healthy trail of smoke coming out and only when i gave it wot it sputtered and then cut off.thanx.
 
Sounds like it may be a little rich.... Try leaning the hsn a tad... then try again. Do you have a temp gauge by any chance?
 
nope no temp gun might get one when i get the money up. ill try that out though.thanx.
