After all my problems I finally got my Revo running good all expect one thing. The idle screw has to be almost all the way in for it to idle. What could be causing that? My other issue with the over heating must have been from the 2ns bad carb because now it runs around 240-250 but I cannot figure out the idle. Its either close to screwed all the way in or it dies.

Traxxas 3.3 engines notoriously run hotter than most other engines. Mine run at 270 all the time with a good tune and strong idle.

+1 if it does not idle high just leave it..
i think it got something to do with the tune that wld cause it.
Everytime i have to adjust my LSN i have to adjust my idle screw a little to compinsate..
my 3.3 runs at 270-280 all the time.. I know wen it gets to 300 u can it in the idle..
A little faster and a little smoother..But wen i say smoother i dont mean better

The opening is bigger than the 1mm they say use. And I am with you guys, It is FINALLY running good with temps around 240-260 so I wasn't planning on messing with it. :hehe: I just thought it was weird that it has such a limited adjustment and its at almost all in.
