Final Decision

Ok, this is what I decided to get for my HPI R40, I’ll place the order on Tuesday. Can you check this list please and let me know if there is something that wont work with my car. I know I’m missing the pipe, I’ll get it locally.

I have some doubts about the engine. It says “with big head” and I don’t know if it will work with my car, please let me know.

Also I need to know is this battery pack will plug into the RX without problems.

If there is something else that I’m missing please let me know to add it. Ifit is possible some thing I can get from anyone of these stores.

All are excellent choices. Except the charger. I'd go with a better choice. Try the Super brain 959 if u can.

Get a 1/8 scale starter box instead of a 1/10th. 1/10 doesn't really have a lot of torque...

That would work, but it doesn't have holes to line up the fly-wheel. So you'd end up eye-balling it.

The blue and red starter boxes in the middle looks to be good ones. Might wanna do a little research on the dimensions as well as the motors being used.
