I always tell people to PAY ATTENTION when putting there stuff back together. Well I did a rookie mistake and did not do this when putting the rear suspension back on my T Maxx.
From the start it was an easy repair, just a little time consuming. I was replacing a broken bulkhead. Not hard. Well as I was putting it back together I started to get in a hurry, daylight was leaving and it was almost 45 out. So I got it back together and ran out to test things before it got dark. Fueled up and ready. Wont start. Pulled and pulled, no start. Crap now what!! This engine ALWAYS starts on the first or second pull?'@#$#@? After about 10 minutes of fighting I take it back to the bench. I find there is no fuel getting to the carb. Well when I put the rear back together I had inadvertently pinched the fuel line. If I was paying attention to what I was doing and not rushing I would not have done this. Now all this has cost me the daylight and an OK day to run it. After fixing the pinched line it started on the second pull.
I could not believe that I did that. Even my 10 year old was chuckling at me, with good reason. So basically, PAY ATTENTION when working on your trucks guys. It will save you a ton of frustration in the end.
Have fun everyone. Shaun
