Hello guys. I want to know, what are the top three brushless motors I can put in my duratrax vendetta? I am thinking about upgrading my motor no. Right now I have in it

Mamba micro pro
11.1volt thunder power lipo pack
Hyperion Y22 Series High-RPM 400 Long MOTOR 4400KV

Please offer me advice on which motor to use with my speed controller.
Motor not to rough on my diffs.
And could get me up to my fastest speed.
Also tell me the top three fastest motors and the pro and cons to each.

You're not going to get much faster with reliability. You are already turning 50K rpms on the Hyperion.

I run a custom shaft Neu 6800 KV motor (model number is forgotten right now) with a Quark 33 Procar ESC on 2S in my Vendetta. It turns about the same max rpms as your Hyperion on 3S and it's uncontrollable.

i actually just finished a project, and i put a 4200Kv CC mamba motor and tekin mini Rage ESC. just took it for a spin and it already getting uncontrollable with a 6 cell Ni-MH battery in it. i know once i put my lipo in there its going to be ridiculous.
planning on a 7.4V 2S thunder battery

11.1V is going to get you nothing but frustration IMO. i like the tekin rage ESC cuz its easy to program and can make it easier to control a 1/18. everyone likes to have the biggest baddest motor but it all counts for nothing if its slipping a sliding all over the place.

Stick with an ESC that easy to program is key for me, i like to have a low Kv motor with a decent battery that gives me good run times.

CC, Tekin, and most other big name brushless companys are making a USB adaptor that lets your program your ESC with a PC. makes a world of difference to see what you can control with your ESC through a PC.

like sweet diesel said "You're not going to get much faster with reliability."

there having a great sale on the CC site that you can get the 4200Kv motor for $20. i can't say anything bad about it. good luck with whatever you choose

handling and drag racing

well right now, my vendetta handles flawlessly. The suspension is fine. But now I want more speed. I am mainly using my vendetta for drag racing. I beat everyone off the line, but they get me on top end speed. So with the type of motor, I need something faster.
