Fast Tmaxx!

I bought a Tmaxx from someone in the forum. Damn this thing is fast. After some very minor repairs, I took it out today for the first time, and was very suprised how fast it really was.
After having a savage with an 8 port, I was very suprised.
Wish I had a speed gun to clock it.
It has a sirio TX18.
Wow!

In my opiniom, the siro 18 in a maxx, is just as fast as my Savage with the hyper 21 8 port.
not as torquey, but just as fast.
but!! i just remembered that my Savage has the 3 aluminum shoe clutch.
Tmaxx does not.
i bet it would make all the difference

The stock T-Maxx has a whole lot of misses. One thing it does have is a whole lot of aftermarket support. You can build a killer Maxx without buying anything from Traxxas.

not much is left stock. thats my old maxx. HCR Ti chassi, sirio, rpm,etc....

I know T-Maxxes aren't the best thing stock, but IMO comparing apples to apples, after upgraded the T-Maxx is one of the best trucks out there.
