Just took the car out for a spin and the kids gather around 1 kid told 6 others " quick the guy with the car is out " then there were 8 kids i scared a few of em drivin real close too em , hate being watched makes me feel like i have to drive perfectly lol to show that i can drive :D:first_place:
 
Well look at it this way. If they want to watch then they can make themselves useful. If you have a rollover. You can send one of them chasing after it to flip it back over on its wheels instead of you going after it.
 
Yeah last I was out I had a kid come up and watch with the "omg whoa" look on his face. Sooner or later the inevitable question was popped "Can I try?" Yeah no, sorry. :\
 
Yeah iv been asked 5, 6 times "can i have a go " i just lie and say I'm tuning it or shes not running well or I'm low on fuel
 
You could be just like me and soy "Hell no, go get your own!". They will probably not ask you anymore, lol.
 
Yea I have a fan base myself "IN A BAD WAY" it's my neighbors DOG going nut's barking LOL I love making her dog bark & go nut's & making the Dog run around like a nut. But after I get through a tank of fuel the COP'S show up & give me a hard time because my neighbor alway's call's on me She's 1 of thouse PPL that thinks everything is her property... & then my other neighbor call's the COP's back when I run my brushless Rig's & say's I throw too much stones on her driveway & get's her car all dusty....I lost 1 bashing spot due to my neighbors the spot I had the guy said he doesent want to be involved if the COPS are called because he let me run my Rig's on his property & empty LOT "BUY THE WAY HE DOSE NOT USE" for anything & I even cut the grass for free so I could use my RIGS there. But anyway that's my story
 
When I go to the skate park with my savvy I usually end up with a crowd of skaters, and some kids. I've let other people drive it before, but i just told them to go no further than half throttle.

I dont get many people watching when I run it at my house... my closest neighbor is 5 acres away. :-P
 
My neighbors are pretty cool about it. They dudes that live next to me don't care and let me use their front yard as a runway to my ramp. The guy who lives across the street from me got into the hobby because of me. Both he and his 16yr old son have Savages and my other niehgbors are fascinated by them. So I guess I'm pretty lucky.
 
Yeeaa-haaa! When I ran my Jato down a new sub-division there was kids pouring out of almost every house to watch the noisy toy haul bawls! Haha I even had a pair of young brothers go in their garage and grab one of those plastic BMX ramps for youth. 5 minutes later my Jato was broken because of that ramp....
 
Yep i've been there several times myself. You know it's gonna tear up but when there is a ramp or a jump of any kind you just can't help yourself. You just gotta try it.:D
 
Well i have 2 neighbors that wanna get into hobby so constantly buy used 100 dollar traps and think i can fix them and I'm a newbie who struggle to keep my own new stuff running, i continue to tell them quit buying used unless u really kno what you doing, then theres a kid who comes every time I'm having one of those days when nothing will run right I'm standing there pissed and confused and he jus continue to ask silly questions.
 
Kids love these things :yes: This is the 4th year I've been asked back to my church to put on a show for our kids during our Fall-Roundup. I don't let them drive my Savage but we put my son's Slash in training mode and let them try it. My problem is trying to find something new to show them.
 
I too sometimes almost feel pressure when i drive my savage and people start to watch... or start to yell commands and ask you to do stuff.. but forsome reason even though you dont typically would do that stuff you do it anyways to make people happy..

Awhile ago i was at a skate park, jumping some of the ramps .. and i was coming up to a ramp and right beside it there was a ramp alittle higher than it with kids ontop of it yelling wide open !! and sure enough i floored it off the ramp and the truck jumped soo close to their faces some of the exhaust oils actually spit onto their faces... i almost thought i hit them for a second but then they started laughing and wiping their faces.

after that i sort of just said sorry guys outta gas and went home ha.
 
hahahahahahahahah i luv the smell of my car for sum reason after its been running maybe cuz as a kid my dad built nitro planes and i luv the smell of fuel and all that

they probably got a nice adrenalin rush when you savy flew across there faces:D

Yep,that is true. The first year I did the show I built a ramp to jump over my 1:1 car. The first attempt I nearly missed the ramp! The next year I had issues with the pipe coming loose. After fighting it at first,it came loose again and the engine was leaning out. I could hear my poor truck crying but I kept running to put on a show.
