ok, i just got an ofna micro failsafe and the plug that goes into the reciever( bettween it and the throttle/brake servo) has a little ridge sticking out of it. this stupid little ridge makes it so i can't plug it in. just so you guys know i have a mt2 rtr. am i putting it in the right plug? i was also wondering if i should shave the ridge off w/ a knife? will it mess it up? oh one more thing, are there any other failsafes that whould fit my mt2. thanx. :) :) :)
 
Just shave off the tab with a knife or dremel... be careful with the knife... I had to do that to my servo connector on my maxx... Didnt hurt anything.
 
Easiest way is to shave off that little tab. Doing it correctly means to replace the plug. Go the easy way. That's what I did.
 
I have learned to call it the "idiot" tab on the servos. Just shave it off. I get a nice sharp pair of dikes and cut em off. Then shave it clean so there are no sharp edges.
 
i had the ofna micro failsafe it suxed because mine was a faulted one it made my savage go out of control and went smack into a nice brand new Acura, After such a brutal baeting to my truck it was all right except for my nice body i had on there which was ruined. I didnt have any problem putting them on. I put on a few of them for a few guys at my hobbie shop which i work at and i didnt have to go crazy putting it in
