Hey guys,

Today while running my buggy, I completely lost radio control, and the throttle stuck where it was when I lost control. The thing went barrel ass right into a busy road, but fortunately it didn't get smushed.

Anyways, it seemed to go back to normal after that. I drove it slowly for a little while. Then it happened again. I lost control and the thing just went straight and I had to chase after it. It was moving much slower this time =)

Anyways, after it happened yet another time, I disconnected the fail safe. After that, I ran for 45 minutes without trouble.

Do you think it was coincidence, or that the radio may be failing? Or have you seen this before?

It's a venom failsafe.

At the RCNT Florida Bash, i was having problems with the servo not wanting to respond, and i thought i fixed the problem. I was running a t-maxx with Venom Failsafe. well i was running out on the track when my t-maxx took off WOT right into the outside wall barrier. didnt break anything, but the throttle servo crapped the bed. it died and locked up at WOT. in that position the fail safe wouldnt had helped at all, and it didnt. so maybe ur throttle servo has a short in it or something.

later

I was thinking that there may be a short somewhere, but it's not a servo I think because when I lost control I couldn't steer either. I tried turning off my radio and turning it back on with no effect (and I tapped it a few times too), so I don't think it's my transmitter.

It's a mystery. I'll run without the failsafe for a bit and if it happens again I'll know for sure.
