Sold / Found fail safe?

I'm looking to install a failsafe on my Tmaxx 2.5r. I already installed foc, so I've eliminated the opti-drive. Which one would fit in my reciever box or do they even make them that small? Are these failsafes any good? I've read a little bit about them, but still skeptical. I have a throttle return spring already installed. Just wondering about these things. Don't want my truck taking off and bouncing off a tree!!! Or whatever else is in the way.

Looking for a good fail safe for my 2.5r. Something small I can fit in the receiver box if possible. Also looking for a-arms for same truck. I'm actually looking for all kinds of stuff, looking to upgrade piece by piece.

A failsafe is a must IMO. I'm not a fan of the smart-temp though. The only draw-back will be your battery. Failsafes are finicky if you use AAs. You won't get to run very long on set before the failsafe kicks in making a 6v receiver pack a must.

I'm running a 6v rechargeable hump pack right now. So I'm guessing I should be all set. I gotta get a fail safe. I just about twisted my truck into a pretzel the other day.:whhooo:
