F1 season begins!

Happy F'ing! I hope the weather holds out for you! Its spotty around New England!

Thanks we had a beautiful day. Got cloudy for the last two mains but great day. Had a fun VTA main, did my first lemans start and went from 5th to 1st in the first two corners from people crashing. I got through clean. Held first for a few laps but couldn't hold them off. Adrenaline dump got my nerves going until I calmed down a bit. Ended up 4th and think I could have got third if I drove cleaner and didn't adrenaline dump.

F1 was a poop show for me. Brought both cars to shake them down and they needed a lot more work than I thought. Ruined some spur gears, found out one of my rear axles is bent, and then I am pretty sure I cooked my motor on the chassis I was running. I did great in the 2nd heat but at the end I was slowing down due to thermal cut off and then the motor just never turned over again. I'll double check sensor cables and stuff but it's a really old motiv 25.5 that's been well abused. So that sucked that I did even get to race the F1 mains.

I was gonna throw that in there. You beat me to it!
Shake downs are rough sometimes! Sounds like you had a bit if that. Good that your motor blew out in a track and not rusting on a shelf!

The VTA sounds like a blast and overall, a good time was had!
