i was thinking the same thing...being a contributor gives a liottle auroa of trust witch has been brooken witch is sadening....and for what $35 forget it...file with all applicable enforcement agentceys let them work on him ....and be thankfull it wasn't a deal with more at stake

Just so everyone knows..... I removed all my previous posts. My wife called today and said that I got a package in today from New Mexico, so that has to be it.
BBTG... I hope you understand where I was coming from with the threats to file charges. I understand that sometimes things come up, and I more then understand that shipping across country takes time, but not this long. My biggest problem with this whole thing has been the total lack of communication. It's hard enough dealing online, but when compounded with no communication at all, it's near impossible. I also hope you understand that the feedback I leave will reflect this. I do hope that you leave me the feedback I deserve as well. Thanks for coming thru.

Yep, it's here. And yep, I was right. I got a PM on the 3rd saying it WAS shipped. It was sent out to me on the 7th!!!

Not cool at all. Even better yet, the engine won't turn over by hand. It moves a little bit either way, but then stops. Either has GREAT compression, or it's a dud. Heading out to the garage here in a bit to start messing with it.

Wow, I even heard from him today..... His email to me is on the top, my reply at the bottom. He was responding to an email I sent asking for my money back.

Look man, I wanted a refund, or the engine. I got the engine today. Finally. Yes, you said you were having problems, but that as of the 3rd of this month the package was on its way to me. I replied asking when you shipped it, and heard nothing back!!! I got the box today, it was shipped on the 7th!!!!!! Why lie to me?? I don't want my money back, I simply wanted what I paid for, and now I finally have it. I would appreciate you leaving me the appropriate feedback on RCNitrotalk, as I paid fast, and tried to maintain communication with you. Why stress if the package is unopened? Check my feedback man, I'm not out to screw anyone. Doesn't matter, I finally got what I was looking for. You dropped the ball on this one, and you're going to try to make me seem like the bad guy? Like I want something for nothing? C'mon man. Leave me my feedback so we can conclude this please. Thanks.

It seems okay now. I took it apart, everything inside is clean. Not sure why it wouldn't turn over right off hand. I took it apart, and put it back together, and it turns fine now. Compression seems okay too. Won't know till it warms up a bit here. It's pretty cold again.

He is a friend of mine and he dosen't have a computer at his house so he came and used mine. For like a week I left to go to Hawaii and we both live in the mountains so he couldn't get on for a couple of days. Sorry for the delay, that engine hasn't had much use so it should be fine.

The compression is fine, installed it, cranked it, and guess what....... Fuel spilling all over the place. Turns out that the carb housing where the HSN screws into is stripped. Buyer beware.
As for not having a computer at his house..... WTF does that have to do with anything? He told me that it was shipped as of the 3rd......... so I took that as it was either on its way to me at that time, or that he SENT it out on the 3rd. Either way, when it got here I tracked the tracking number only to find out it was SENT on the 7th!!!!! That has nothing to do with the lack of a computer. That simply being an untrustworthy seller.
No big deal, it got here, and now I'll have to buy a $70 carb to get it to run. At least I finally got what I paid for. But hey, thanks for jumping in and making him look worse. :hammer:
