There is no connector on the charge leads

Dont understand this part?

You have 2 leads correct? 1 that goes to the switch the other is a smaller tamiya style plug where you plug in the charger correct?
 
I've already discussed this with him.. it had the charger connector but he cut it off so he could use his good charger on it..
