i noticed yesterday that when i went to start my Maxx with the ez start, that when i went to start it, the truck was jumping forward like it was in gear? i have never had this happen, is this a bearing issue in the Ez start? i have not had any problems with the Ez start in over a year of use. i did get it to start, but had to lift it off the ground to get it going. weird thing is once it was started, it sat just fine and idled ? any ideas !

Wheels’ moving when the cheesy start is engaged is engine clutch related and has nothing to do with the starter.

Bad bearing in the clutch bell and/or clutch shoe(s) /spring being broken/weak is the most likely cause.

It’s coming along pretty well. Gravity powered at the moment:) I still have a ways to go before I will make any attempts at 100.

I agree with snook deffinetely sticking clutch,bu there is also something inside your tranny that is syntrificul as well(think I spelled that wrong) but I would check the clutch first.
