sometime today I desided I should fire the maxx up today and so I charged the battery in my peak charger and plug it in and try to start it well insted of it going a fast thudthudthudthud it did thud. . . . thud . . . . thud . . . . thud like a dead battery then I stopped it and thought it was flooded and it also could bearly trun the engine over w/out the glow plug so I took it out of its little home and ran it it accel higher then it dropped then got higher again and out of all of the little moters i've gone thru this has never happend to me. help!:(

Mike do you only have one batt? I thought you got a buggy for xmas try another batt first if you have oneX

I took it out of the black thing with all the gears and it got fast then slow fast then slow. and yes i have more then one batt, I have two one was a 1500 and the other 1800 and they both did the same thing

And it sounds like you toasted the EZ-Start motor....
 
Perhaps it's a bit dirty? Have you tried to take the motor apart? It's a pretty simple one so there should be too much trouble. It may just need some cleaning. I'd clean the bushings and the comm to see if that helps...
 
ok, I am not into electric moters and stuff, but my friend is so i'll have him help me. thanks
 
If you tosted the ez starty motor there only like 5 bucks i think but maby less.. I've replaced mine before too and it sounded like what happened to you happened to me.. so i got a new one and it worked perfect.
 
yeah your right at my lhs have them for 6 bucks i'll go there today and get one:cross:
