Well, I went to the lhs for a new moter and at the the time all they had was a freebe moter that worked, but it didn't have the gear on it. can anyone tell me how I cand take the old gear off the other moter and on the new one? thanks

nope didn't worked i pulled the whole shaft out of the moter

those gears are probably pressed on with a press. you will probably have to make some kind of home made press to press it off the old shaft and then press it on the new shaft. you could use a vise and a hammer if you have one
