I've seen these for onroad cars, they are just like sticks that hold the wheel/tire sets when there not on the car.. what i need are ones for buggy or MT tires.. I've got a few laying around and would like to keep them organized.. anyone know of any companies that make them or something i can make?? i would just use a wire hanger but i would like something a bit more professional looking.. any ideas?? thanks guys..

Aluminum threaded dowels, and cut some plexi glass or even wood in a circle, and use a wing nut to hold em down.

good idea 4u.. i never thought about that.. i got some lexan laying around from a computer mod i did so that should work.. now i just gotta find my hole saw.. but hey for 4 bux those arent bad.. the only down side is they look to be plastic.. and those big wheels are heavy..

For my on road I found that 4 tires fit Just perfect into Crystal Lite containers. I mean Just perfect!

Measure the width of your tires and see if there is some PVC pipe that they will slide into. They make end caps for most sizes of PVC. It will be a lot more bulky but its worth looking at.

Thats a good idea too! Never thought of that. That way theyd be concealed to, and people at the track wouldnt know whats in there. (So it wont get lifted as easy). Eddies always thinkin'!

yea then you could throw a handle on it and be set.. hhmm eddy i think i feel a patent comming on.. you want ins??

sheet of plywood, cut out 2ft wide by 3ft long, cut a handle hole at one end. wooden dowels cut to fit 1 or 2 pairs of tires, a washer and clips. drill holes in the plywood far enough apart to space the your tires & wheels for the dowel pins. drill holes about 1/2 from the end of the dowels for clips. you can get finder wahsers (large flat washers), to keep the wheels from slipping over the clips. all availible at your local hardware store.
Or do what most ppl do and buy plastic tubs to keep your wheels in.

Used tennis ball cannisters work well too. Just make sure you write the shore # and width of the foams on the inside of the rim so you don't lose track.

For my on road tires I just put a zip tie through the center of the four rims , the biggest one that will fit, and the lock block from the end of another zip tie. It holds them perfectly. For bigger tires you could always just slide the zip tie throgh a washer on each side befor adding the other lock block.
