I made about 10 sets for friends and neighbors, about a year ago. They are cool in the first few days, but after that the broken parts were too much to take. It puts alot of stress on your bearings and plastic parts. It should be OK with all aluminum Maxxes, but thats about it.

I'd have to agree. As weak as the bearings are in a maxx, this would just shorten their lives even more. It would also put a lot of extra strain un the arms/bulkheads if you hit anything. It's just that much more leverage. It may be ok on a lowered street maxx that you don't intend to jump or hit anything... but if that's the case, get a damn touring car ( I don't mean that directed at you, just in general)!

We all agree. They look pretty cool, but the extended length would only make for more stress and wear. Good for flat asphalt ONLY, so why put them on a MT.

I wouldn't put those on my Maxx either I break enough stuff w/o the extra stress from an extra inch. Think about it if it causes more stress than the normal wheels then you would break something every 3 minutes instead of once a tank.

Here is why I made mine. I made them for Duellie bars, or extensions. It was quite good in the sand, and they worked well for amazing my kids.
