Hello! Long time crawler, First time poster!
i am looking to add some More length to my 4908. the reason is because I'm using a 1/8 scale pipe + mani on my .26 maxx what i am wondering is where can i find a looonger chassis + needed parts for my Maxx?
I keep going back to this picture, but for the life of me i can't figure out what chassis it is!

if anyone can advise where i can get a longer chassis, or what chassis is in this Photo, it would be appreciated! :D:D

Thats actually a fantastic idea! =) i wonder how long of a rear dogbone i would need for that.. hrmm *thinking cap* does the 101mm one they sell work for the 4908 plus monoblock?
Questions questions!

so i just tried to buy a monoblock on UEs' Website, and unfortunately they wont take my canadian credit card. so that nixes that idea unless there is a workaround :( any other ideas to extend the chassis?

Extended my chassis by 50 mill with some custom made rails and xl skid plates works wonders and handles way better .

I extended my chassis this way, I had it posted on another thread so just copy and pasted it, I can put up some pictures of it later if you want.

if your prepared to put a bit of time and effort into it you can extend the chassis yourself, i did this with my tmaxx. Take the engine and fuel tank off and remove the rear assembly. You can either cut up the chassis from another car which is what I did or you can buy a chassis by itself. Cut the chassis to fit lapped underneath the chassis on the tmaxx (you may need to cut a v in it where the driveshaft goes) adding a couple of inches to the rear to make space for the engine and drill the holes to attach it, don't forget about the the brace underneath aswell. Now drill the holes to attach the rear assembly to it. Before you assemble it the centre driveshaft isn't going to reach properly so you will have to use half of one of the longer driveshafts that go to the wheels instead. Now you can reassemble everything and its ready to go. You will to cut some bits off of the leftover chassis and drill holes in them to make up the space between the extended chassis and the engine mount. Now you have the space to put whatever engine you want on it, with better handling aswell, in a cheap way.

heres those pictures

Here is my T-Maxx . Nothing special . I have about a $50 a week habit , I mean hobby . I am on my third motor in 6 months . 6 clutch bells , 20 plastic spur gears (Tried metal but went back to plastic) 20 sets of clutch shoes , 10 CB bearings , 1 fuel tank , 12 sets of A arms ... Where does it end ???
I am a daily basher and crasher . I jump cars and run over dogs . Woops.
I am going to upgrade to some RPM parts . I will post more pics later . Now I just figured out how to upload pics HEHE.
BTW . Thank you everyone for helping me keep this rig going . This site is my number one goto for everything RC .

Hi

I'm also in Canada
And have made multiple purchases frOm UE
Over the last year. All you have to
Do is select "postal billing" at checkout an then send him a
Money order. Apart from a different chassis and a monoblock, a 4 shock setup will
Give you enough space to clear a bb header

Is the monoblock still being made? Last I looked it was discontinued.
