i was out yesterday wit my maxx.. and it rolled a few times... no big deal.. but on one of the rolls i heard a loud noise... the exhaust popped off the header.... is that normal? anyways to prevent again... I'm thinking about gettin the ths pipe soon its stock for now

That will happen from time to time on a good roll. To keep it from happening quite as often, there are a couple things you can do. First is to flange the end of the header and if you're using a metal pipe, the flange of the pipe. To do that, take a screwdriver and put it just a little ways into the header/pipe. Then pry out and around so you essentially bend a little lip into the pipe/header. Then put the coupler on and double zip tie it on. So use 4 ties total. That should keep it in place unless you hit it good.

I ended up using a coupler that looks like a thick piece of garden hose. So far, it has never came back off.

I think tha I may start using tiny automotive hose clamps. That Way I can re use them.

I use zip ties, 2 of them, tight. never have a problem. I acually flipped it for about 20 feet today and everything was in tacked.

well no crash is the same so the outcome is different for everyone.

They work awesome :) thats what I use, neve have had a problem since I put them on. And I have had some wicked crashes lol.

sirio tuned pipe... it slides over the header about a half inch or so. It really doesn't go anywhere unless you really screw up!
