It it normal for the exaust to leave a line on the pavement when you take off? OR is that a sign the LSN is still too rich?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. There is a small quantity of oil in the exhaust that can do that. It does happen more if you're running rich, but don't let that be a factor in what adjustments you make. If it's running fine, just run it...

my savage 21 leaves marks on the pavement. i lost my front dogbone so i only have back wheel drive until i get a new one and i was doin doughnuts in the middle of the street and it left like big marks and have been there for like two weeks haha its kinda cool

It just means your running a little rich which is good for the longlife of your motor. if its running good, then leave it alone. lines will wash away with the rain.

If you get an unsuspecting neighbor out watching you one day, you can convince him/her that it's actually rubber left by your screaming tires! They get really excited about how cool it is, and you just play along, bragging on your ride because it has so much power that it just can't be contained! (yes, this has happened to me twice) It's pretty funny!
