So after talking about 100% aluminum tmaxx i ended up wanting to put together a big rig.
Got the body (f 650) and got the wheels 6 1/2ish and there offset a lil to give a wider stance.
Now i need a chassi.

Would the 3.3 chassis fit the f650 body? I'm looking to line up the center of the wheels with the center of the wheel well.

I have the old 2.5 with 3.3 upgrade engine.

So would the 3.3 chassis fit this body? And what else will i need?

I Believe both the 3.3 and 2.5 transmissions share the same size output shaft on the transmission 5mm). So
All You Would Need is the stock sliding cetntre shafts.

If your planning on using the extended 3.3 chassis you going to need the #4908 or #4907 transmission.

Id like to keep my tranny i like the reverse its good when i dont feel like running across the feld like a child lol. I just wanted to see what chassis i can order that will fit good with my f650 body.
Or if anyone can make one.

There's still a couple things you can do to
Extend it while keeping the black tranny.

You can get a monoblock extension and rear dogbone. A $100 upgrade and it extends the chassis roughly 1"

Or you can use the extended tmaxx chassis and
Get both front and rear steel dogbones.

Got my tires in yesterday and wow there big! Kinda worried the motor wont push them.

:D yes sir!

Ok i ordered this kit that includes :
One 3.3 chassis
One 3.3 battery box with switch and battery pack
One 3.3 receiver box
Both 3.3 servo mounts
One engine mount
And all screws.

All of this new for under $20 shipped.

Why is this stuff cheap?

Who knows? I paid $75 for my 4907 chassis and transmission kit with servo mounts boxes and drive shafts and even came with throttle brake linkage and chassis braces.

I'm useing a 20T clutch bell has anyone tried anything different for more torque?

Thats like half the truck lol.

Ok update: the new drive shalfs wont fit th the 2.5 would i need to swap out the brake disk nut? The new shaft has 2 pins coming out of it

I saw as to why you said i need the gray tranny.
The 3.3 shaft connect to the break dics way different and the yoke will not work with the 2.5 tranny.

So since i was hard headed and didnt listen i had to do the following.
i kept the 2.5 tranny and break disk assembly.
then i poped the yoke from the 2.5 shaft and used it on the 3.3 shaft.
it works BUT breaking power is not 100%.
I will use it like this untill it breaks.

Will i do it again? No
is it cost effective? No
I did do the forward only kit and it takes off smooth. No more jerking.

So to who ever reads this i recommend you to buy the gray tranny.
it is cheaper.
