Well, what happened with me was I was driving one day and my t-maxx I noticed lack of steering... it got worse and worse and worse untill there was no steering at all. I couldn't find out the problem but then I figured my servose were so hard to turn. I just oiled up the pillow balls and wal'la it was fixed!

The two suggestions made here are perhaps the best advice you could get. Oiling the pillow balls was a nice idea, but the first bit of dirt you hit and those suckers are going to get choked with dirt. That will be bad for both the knuckle joints and the pillow balls.

When the steering gets sluggish, that is usually a good sign that it is time for new batteries for the servos and receiver. The other possibility is that the linkages are overtightened, but I' m leaning more towards the battery issue on this one.

Check the batteries, thats the first thing I'd do. You're batteries are probably low.:smart:

Also, do you have a FailSafe? If not, and your batteries are getting low enough to cause a steering loss, Don't Drive Again Until You Get One!!! I promise, it will save you hundreds in the long run.

(Ever seen a T-Maxx do 30mph into a mailbox?? I have... )

I agree with Sky on this one, the first time you take it out in the dirt that oil is going to turn in to sandpaper, not good. If anything I would use a dry graphite lube only.

Again I have to agree with him on this too. Always check the batteries first.
