Here's a tip for ya fella's, our inked members will know what I am talking about. Anyway, about a month ago at the track my dad was pitting for me. He's totally new to rc, anyway, he was holding my MSR and I asked him to put it down, he didn't hear me so I grabbed it on the sides and right hand by the pipe. Burnt the crap out of three of my fingers (I still managed to drive ok though). I happened to have a tube Aquaphor and put it on the fingers and man it worked like a champ! Soothed that burn in a hurry. Also have used Bacetracin just to test. Why did I have the tube with me, well the tat shop is right next to the track! You never know when I might get the bug and get another, especially on a rainy day. Just thought I'd share, I now keep a tube in my pitbox.

Ask Ratzo, I dont think hes been burned by the Rc but I know the suns done a number on him a few times.

i got burned perdy good the first time i turned marshal at a race.......my first one.........I'm gona git some of that & put in my pit/toolbox just in case.....

I learned quick when I first marshalled a race. Ever since then I use mechanics gloves

Yeah same here, Mechanix are the best. I burned it driving though, I was just coming off the heat race.

I got myself good marshaling for an oval race. Someone was running super hot. (Bad Gearing) Reached down and was flipping it from the rear and blistered the hell out of my fingers on the bottom of the motor.

What gets me is the guy came over after the race and gave me a snoot full for dropping his 1,200 car 8 inches. I just said sorry and walked away. Never did tell him how hot it was. Let him figure it out himself.

I did learn to wear a glove so not all was lost.

Ha! Serves ya right, fart head! That's what you get for NOT lending me your gloves first time I marshalled until AFTER I burnt my hands!

Me: "Geez Jet, I just burned the poop outta my hands!"
Jet: "Oh, sorry man. Wanna borrow my gloves?"

The ying is now balanced with the yang!
