evader with tranny problems

have an older evader and I've taken out the tranny out 2 times now in about 5 hours of run time when it went out the frist time i upgreded to the new style spyder gears and i tore that out quicker than the old style any ideas???

Try and find something from the aftermarket to fix it, if it doesn't cost too much. I hate to say it, but those old evaders are pretty weak in the drivetrain department. Personally, I'd either try to sell it, part it out and pick up something tougher and more enjoyable.

spider gears are not my forte i personally like ball diffs the best
