Esc choice my first choice was obviously incorrect

I have an extended traxxas bandit/slash build with slipper eliminator and locker in diff housing using a 4s cm5250kv motor and THOUGHT that the 1/10 scale 6s mamba x would handle it. 160$ burnt. Was wondering what esc COULD handle it?

Uhhh... I think the Mamba should have handled that. Anyway, any 1/8 ESC will handle a 3660 motor at 4s.

Yeahhhh..... That tp motor drew too many amps and popped the capacitors on the mamba x on two full pulls.

Gonna go overboard and put the mamba monster x 8s with 8g wire and qs8 connectors with a cap pack...... See how that goes. Dang motor also snaps drive shaft screw pins
