I have an rc-10 GT w/ O.S .15 cv-x engine. Of late the car has been surging. I thought it was the servo..change it -not the problem-tried changing battery pack-not the problem. The throttle is only erratic when car is on. Maybe radio...any ideas???

Sounds like it is glitching, since it only does this when the car is on, and by on I assume you mean when the engine is running. Look for any metal to metal rubbing, this can and will cause the problem you are having.

If the exhaust pipe is pressed to far into the rubber, it will hit the header ever so slightly causeing definate glitching.

If you havent changed anything recently, take a look.. it's the only sneaky glitch I know about.

Never thought about that metal to metal...I just recently installed a new pipe supporter. Might be pushing pipe agaisnt header. Will check..Thanks
