Hey Spitfire

you dont need dreamweaiver or front page

its really easy to create a web page in note pad you just have to learn a few basic codes

i actually have my own web server which isn't up and running right now but i built the page in note pad and it doesn't look half bad

when i get the server back up ill post a link to the page

I don't have microsoft Frontpage...

THANK GOD you dont and PLEASE keep it that way. Frontpage is by far the worse program you could use to create a webpage. Either save up the money to buy Dreamweaver from eBay for like $100 or so or actually take the time and learn html and code it yourself.

When it comes to webpages simple and clean and easy to navigate is the way to go...nothing worse then a confusing anoying web page that makes me hit the little red X faster on my browser.....

sLY

when it comes to sales I have a few more tips to add....
1...NEVER....I mean NEVER refer to any product as "cheap", even if it is literally a cheap crappy product...that word should only be used in pricing descriptions only and then only in comparison to another product (better to leave those descriptions from your vocab altogether).....I ran a few large retail stores (or sections of) and had a long term policy of firing salemen that could not speak properly & creatively and slammed products in any negative way...you may look at it as a comparison but the customer may have a reason for liking that product....you slamming it will not look good.......

2: If you don't know mac's inside and out don't sell that you do...nothing worse than a tech who is constantly looking in the same manual I could open up and flip through right in front of me...I'm paying you to KNOW this stuff...not make me feel stupid for not opening the same book I could have...If you don't know it do the research AWAY from the customer.....

3: Dress and general hygene are so critical to your sale or tech visit, So I'll pound it into your head a lil more....you can know more than the top MS programmers but if you show up in rags you'll have a long row to hoe buddy.....

I hate sales because of the dress issue...I hate putting on slacks and a tie....I mean HATE IT......I need to wear jeans and t-shirt (like I am right now).....whenI left Paragon in NY I gave away 5 very nice suits and a friggin closet full of slacks and dress shirts.....I never want to feel like a slave again....LOL...actually I know I am still a slave but at least I'm a comfortable one.....

Everyone, I made my changes. If there are any more problems, please point them out. Msly, I put a notice on the rates page that I do not fix, create or maintain macs(For now). I also deleted the "About me" page.

Woodie, I removed the sound file.

Msly, I've had so much practice setting up and re-setting up diffrent networks and fixing my family's computer it's not even funny. I mean seriously. We just got a new router from NetGear(THANK GOD). Our old Linkis(Or however you spell it) one was a piece of crap. I had to set up and fix our network literaly every day or so. My mom's laptop is ALWAYS having problems. The damn thing is overloaded...my mom doesn't understand that her laptop is bottom of the barrel and that it can't do all the stuff she wants it to do.

Hopefully, I can become a member within time!

everything seems to work for me! Are you talking about the little box or the Era Computers - Quotes link?

Do you think that one of you guys could email me at [email protected] and ask for a quote on any computer system you could think of and see how I respond and maybe give me some pointers on that?
