Good afternoon once again Gentleman

I Just got the piston and sleeve out all thanks to Candyman.

No i need to know if i can clean the lot, what do i use to clean everything ?
The piston head's bottom part strated to break away, why would that happen ?

The enjin is full of the little peices that broke of, i ned to clean them out before i put the new piston and sleeve in, but can i wash it ? With what ?

Once i've washed it, what do i use to grease everuthing again ?

Thank You for all Your help.:)

Yikes.
Sounds like you have some issues. First, to clean the engine, most people use Denatured Alcohol. You should be able to find it in stores where you find house paint and other chemicals like paint stripper or thinner. Don't use regular Rubbing Alcohol. That has water in it and can cause the engine to rust. You could also use Simple Green if it's available in SA. It's an all-natural cleaner that works wonderfully.

If you're seeing metal fragments in the engine, you're going to have to try to find where they were coming from. More than likely, you've really damaged the piston and sleeve. But you'll also want to check the walls of the crankcase and the crankshaft itself to see if there is any damage or deep grooving.

And if the bottom of your head is cracking or pitting, I'd recommend replacing it. The fit between the head and crankcase is vital to good performance. If you get an air leak there, you're tuning will be all screwed up and you'll most likely be unable to tune it properly.

Once it's clean and reassembled, use after-run oil or WD-40 to get a thin layer of lube on everything.

CANDYMAN do you have an E-savage?
because I think that I know you from E-Savage forum...or maybe this is just me and my messed up mind....
