i got a savage X 4.6 and it runs great but want more power and i think my OWB is stripped so i think I'm gonna just buy a new engine id like one that i can just put right in with stock clutch bell. i was think lrp 30 or lrp 28?
def want torque monster, and want it to be well worth the swap.

plz guys and thanks u already been alot of help

well i want more power my boss/best friend got a revo with a picco 26 and just got an lrp30comp n i wanna keep up, but we are both torque/wheelie heads.

i am ordering the engine as soon as someone lets me know what one better and easy to install lrp28 or lrp30spec2?

btw i love this forum you guys are the best, i love having a question and being able to come type it and get an answer in a min :)

someone said something about havin to grind something?

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I have the XL and just put in a LRP .30 spec2 and the stock clutch and spur did not mesh properly as the mount/engine are right up against the tvp. to me it looks like only fix is to grind or just put in a different combination.

no no i wasn't questioning u its just that i just ordered the lrp32 n wanted to make sure i was buyin the right one. sorry if it came out wrong

Nah i didnt think that. I was welcoming someone to offer any other way of making it fit. but I love my lrp .30 spec 2, with the ofna 053 its a monster.

Next project is taking that K5.9 and putting it on my mini mgt

It depends on which engine plate you use. The 4.6 uses a 2.5 mm thick plate and XL uses a 3 mm thick plate. I think this is why you ran into clearance issues. Just to clarify I'm refering to the plate the engine mount bolts to. The 4.6 is orange and the XL is gray.
