i got an 0s 30 and thats overkill enough..but theres no such thing as too much POWER
 
Sure for the most part any engine from a .21 to a .32 will fit in a Savage.....So the Sirio .23 will fit but you would be cutting your self short with it IMO.....The LRP has way more power....and less expensive than the Sirio. Even more so that the Axial .32
I am sure some will back me up on my statement of the LRP .28 is the best bang for your buck engine made in the .28 size. Yes there are badder .28's.....but not for the price. Some of the high end OS and Nova's will eat it's lunch......for a $100-$300 more.
 
Another thing to consider is the stock Savage motor is a .28, and I always like to go with a similar size or bigger, unless there's a good enough reason to step down to a much smaller mill. IMHO, the OS engines provide some of the best bang for the buck, they have excellent life expectancy, and great customer service. I researched engines quite a bit before I got my Savage, because I was going to do a big block conversion on my T-Maxx, but then I decided it would never be set up to really handle the power well, so I bought the Savage instead and got more truck for les money. I have also heard of many people being very happy with their axial engines, and they are priced quite reasonably if I'm not mistaken. If I bought an engine today, it would probably be an OS though.
