k well i decided to get a engine that is right for me: holds a tune, and is easy to tune. out of the SH .28, Wasp, Diablo, k 4.6 and collari, which holds the best tune and is easiest to tune? i heard the collari u have to tune it every time u drive it. y do u have to tune it every time u drive it? they are all great engines i just can't decide!!! the first tune i have my LSH do it cuz the books arent accurate for my elevation, so the first time u have to tune it i got it covered.....but i need a engine that will stay tunned. which is the best engine listed above that meet my requirement??? i suck at tunning so i need to get it tunned right the first time..............and keep it that way. minor tweeks once in a while are fine. but which engine can go the longest with out having to re tune it is my question.........thanks,
mark.

and w/ that engine that meets my requirments which fuel (type of fuel and precent), glow plug, and pipe work best for it???

thanks again
mark

If u dont like tuning then dont get a wasp or a collari. Sorry, that is all i know from the stories from the track.I am not positve, that is just what i have seen.

Out of those sh .28 maybe easiest to tune dont know bout the k 4.6 anyone with savage ss 4.6 will be able to answer that. The collari is more sensitive to weather changes than most engines thats why you must tune it everytime you run it. Since you arnt t good at tuning steer clear of the collari. Possibly sh .28 or you could look into xtm 24.7

wat about the wasp? I'm thinkin about gettin that n e one know if it can hold a tune? is it sensitive to weither changes? the first time u tune it i dont care how hard it is..........but i dont wanna tune it all the time.

cut the collari out of my list of engines.......now what does it look like.......now out of the Wasp, diabo, sh, and 4.6 which is the best? which is the fastest and easiest to stay tuned/tune. i want to do wheelies w/ my sav so which is the best 4 wheelies???

sh for wheelies i have seen some at the track they re good engines wasp diablo are a little weak on the low end but have good mid to top end power. 4.6 havent seen so couldnt tell you.

I'm glad that you gave it another chance and i actually like your car know

I've got the k4.6 on my savage and it wheelies no problem, then i figured out my linkage was binding at about 3/4 throttle so I was not getting full throttle out of it and it was pullin wheelies. so I have not ran with the others but the k4.6 is a pretty good engine for bashing

i kinda want the collari...........how much weather change will it effect it? even if the weather changed couldnt u still drive it w/ out messing w/ needles? wuldnt it just not run as good? how bad does the weither change mess it up? n e one know where i can get a SH .28 besides ebay and hong kong??? cuz I'm looking for wheelies!

mark

i decided to get the SH .28.....................but like i posted above where can u get one online??? (no ebay or hong kong..........U.S.)

mark

Just get the SH .28 in Hong Kong, it should take 7-10 days and that engine will be very easy to tune. I had a XTM 24.7 which is made by SH also and it was the easiest breakin and tuning I have ever seen. I tuned it twice I think over the whole summer. Its only a few days wait and the SH will give you wheelies.

I ran my Collari yesterday for about 4 tanks with temperatures ranging in the high of 76 to a low of 55. I had to tweak the needles twice to make sure it was running optimally. I am running 30% and yesterday the MC8 plug was perfect when the temps were in the 70s.

yeah i will get it from hong kong...........n e one know hong kong sites??? the lowest one i saw was 130, can i get it cheaper? (this next is about the collari 30) so if my temps stay close to the same it will work well. how much wether will effect it??? is the collari good at wheelies?

mark

i think I'm gettin a collari tho.........n e one know how fast they go? how good they do wheelies? I'm excited! i can't wait to get it!!!!

thanks
mark

i think I'm getting the SH .28* so on the post above put SH .28 where collari is.
oops.......my bad

SH .28 is a great engine, when SKIP had his it was a demon in the Savage. It also seemed easy to start and I know SKIP mentioned it ran pretty cool.

i got 18/52 tooth gearing (CB and spur gear) will it still do good wheelies? whats the best gear combo 4 wheelies???
