Does anyone have a XTM 24.7 pro on their savage, how fast is it better than picco?

if you are comparing it to the picco .26, then no it is not faster :hamster:

I have the picco .26 in my savage and my friend has the xtm 24.7 in his t-maxx. we run pretty even just bashing. i still think i can tweek mine a little more. the xtm 24.7 is not as strong but his truck is a lot lighter so power to weight ratio is probably close. to make a long story short, in a savage the picco .26 will be better than the xtm 24.7 in a savage.

well guys, i got the xtm 24.7 in my supermaxx and i smoke both the savages out at the lhs. they both got the .26's in there's. but it aint by much. they are both a well rounded engine with each having its weak points and strong points.

this the XTM 24.7 Pro Much better then just the stock xtm 24.7

I just put a XTM 24.7 in my Max today and it looks like its going to be crazy!! I have a Savage S-25 and I though that was a brute.

I wouldnt count out a good running 24.7!!

My dad has a 24.7 Pro that he runs on his savage some. I have a Wasp .26 that has been ported. he runs the stock 15t clutch bell and I run a 16t. The XTM Pro turns up higher RPMs so we end up at about the same speed top end, but mine has a little more low end torque and definately has a deeper meaner sound especially when it's idling...
