Today ended in a pretty good way. Was sitting out on the pourch about 6pm and ups pulled in and dropped off my new dynamite for the tmaxx. So now I got everything swapped over and all the linkage adjusted and motor bolted into place. Got the spur and the clutch bell lined up perfect and the carb opening full and closing solid. Only thing it lacks is a servo for steering and I'm going tomorrow to pick one up at the lhs. After its mounted I can fire it up and start the breakin. Sweet! Now the tmaxx will be back in action. Nice beginning to the start of the weekend!!!:D
 
Congratulations, what size is the dynamite and are you putting it into a 3.3 chassis?
 
It's a .19T and it's going on my 4910 chassis. Which originally came with the trx.15 and was upgraded to the 3.3. I threw a rod in the 3.3 and it took the piston skirt with it so I have totally rebuilt the truck from bare chassis up and rePlaced all broken and worn parts. So in the process now of second tank with the .19T.
 
109.99 free shipping from horizon hobbies on EBay. Engine runs great so far just one tank of break in. Got some more tweeks to do inside tranny to get it engaging right tomorrow. Hopefully have time to finish breaking it in afterwards. Supposed to have more torque than the 3.3 with less RPM. Better engine bearings and balanced crank as well.
 
Will try when it's broke in. Got some nice jumps to hit out back and can perch iPhone right beside it. Had a few on here before I crashed the phone from some jailbroke crap and lost all my vids. Be patient with me and I will get some up of the maxed and revo both.

Tmaxx not maxed. Damn auto spell check gets me everytime!!
 
Having some transmission issues I need to correct before I can finish the breakin. May have to install the FOC to fix it and lhs has to order one for me. So unless I can do some adjustments and get it to engage correctly its gonna be put on hold till the parts arrive.
 
It just broke the spur gear during the third tank!! I'm begining to seriously dislike this damn tmaxx!! Engine can't be any better acting during breakin but the damn tranny keeps giving me hell!
 
I havnt had any problems from my revo even while breakin in a new engine on it. A spur gear per tank so far on the tmaxx and it's because of the middle shaft being worn where the one way bearing rides. So I shimmed it with a couple of thin washers to get it just over the. Ad spot and now the thing keeps eating my spur gear. Third tank ate two of em and I'm not putting my last one on it to eat as well till I get another trans! AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
 
I had alot of problems with my black trans to. The only thing that i could do was rebuild it and clean it all up and then install the FOC.
 
Sad thing is I have the foc on order but it won't fix the problem I'm having. I need a new center shaft to fix it. The one way bearing is still good but it's wore a spot on the shaft and won't grab now! It's cool Snookman is sending me another shaft. He has helped me out a lot through this restoration project. Would have been lost if he hadn't stepped in and walked me through a few things!
