I am replacing the EZ start engine on my Tmaxx 3.3. When I put it all back together how do I know I put the ENGINE-(not the EZ start engine) back on correctly?

Also, I put the EZ start engine on, but it isn't starting the Truck, what could the problem be? The EZ start remote lights up properly when the remote isn't in the truck, but once put in the truck, it no longer lights up, but nothing happens. Its SILENT!

Please help. Thanks!!

check to make sure the yellow wire on the side of the motor next to the gas tank is hooked up. it gets screwed down between the head of the bolt and the piece that the engine bolts too. hope this helps...

Also, there is a small plus sign on your motor of the EZ start. Mine is on the top side of the motor. But make sure the wires are connected right.

But installing the actual engine is a longer explanation. The engine should be oriented in perfect alignment with the whole body (straight) to help accomplish that there should be a wear pattern on the chassis that shows you where the engine sat before thats a good place to start. Now as far as the proper spur/clutch bell you need to have a plastic bag. The heavy duty zip-lock type works really well. Slice the bottom end off the bag about 3/4 inches and about 4 inches long. Slide that in between the clutch bell and spur gear the push motor towards the spur then tighten down to set the gap properly. Hope this helps.
