hi i just got my hands on an XRay RX8 2012 spec and was wondering what yous would recommend as a good engine to install into the beast. i'm planning on eventually getting into some 1/8 racing. Your ideas will be appreciated, thanks.

Well if you planning on getting into racing stick with a .21 engine. As far as what brands i will tell you my favorite is gonna be novarossi. Its all gonna depend on how much you want to spend on it. There are tons of manufacturers of engines out there to choose from and most of them offer a .21 big block race spec engine. You can spend anywhere from $150 al the way up to $499 on a .21 depending on the maker. So narrow your choices down by your budget and you will get the answers you want then.

my budgets around $300, but that could change, you know how it is when your buying parts. Do LRP offer any good motors that you suit? I've got a NT1 with a RB Speedine Matrix Rw, & a Revo with a OS 21tm, so i'd like to try a different brand of motor, maybe LRP or Picco.
