THis engine is a .18 kyosho. It has been sitting for about 2 years. THe gas was burnt out of it and after run was added. I tired to get it started the other day and it wouldn't start, so I assumed that it needed some work. I took the carb. apart and cleaned it and changes the glow plug, made sure there was compression. After all that, it still wouldn't start. So i thought that it was the high and low end and the carb gap. SO i reset all back to the factory setting (of course as close as it can be) made sure I had a 1mm gap in my carb and it still wouldn't start. I played with the high and low end and even increased the gap in the carb and still nothing. It's not even hitting. Am I missing something or should i just assume the engine has seen its days?

You're certain the glow plug is good?? You've primed it until there's fuel at the carb and just a tad more? Even on an engine that has no compression left, you'll still normally be able to get it running, it'll just die once it warms up.

I put in a couple of different glow plugs and made sure it was primed. I can't get nothing from it. I have no clue what to do. Is there anything else that I am overlooking or forgetting about?
