i have a savage 25 with a newly broke in wasp 28 engine.........now it is a pita to start..........does anyone here use the wasp 28 & what do yoll have the low/high end needles set at from closed ?.......4 full turns from closed, 6 turns of what ?........I'm not looking for the factory settings cause thats in the manual but looking for the best settings that some of you use........

The one blip in time I had mine running like a raped ape, the HSN was at 3-3/4 and the LSN was at 6. There really is no "ideal" on these things. You have to fiddle with it awhile to dial it in.

If it's being a bitch to start check or even better, replace the glowplug.
I've seen many a tug & shrug piss off session caused by glowplugs.
