What should the 3.3 engine optimal temperature be?

I'm going through glows plugs like mad, as they are burning out

Pretty sure it should be between 240- 270 F.

mines running around 130-160c!!!

You need to richen it up then.

yeh mines runs pretty well between 100-120. thats bashing not racing. so diff needle settings for that...

also make sure your spur/cb is meshed and bearings/shim is good. mine ran hot a few times when they stuffed up due to the extra load...
