just trying to find out if 260 is to high of a temp running trinity monster horsepower in savage f4.6.

yes. The optimum temperature should be around 220 to 240. it is almost on the verge of over heating.

i thought 270 was max, I've always been running up to a maximum of 270, 270 is fine, get really good performance. 220 the engine is still not at best perfomance
