i bought a t maxx today got it home noticed that the left over gas was gumed up an the motor is stuck it has the .15 on it can some help me on what to do

Take the engine apart and clean it with carburator cleaner. Reoil the crankcase bearings with light bearing oil or WD40.

gummed motor

Take all plastic off put in oven at 350 for 15 min. pull out with oven mit spray wd-40 in glow plug, spin flywheel til all is freed up, reinstall and fire it up asap it's a quick and dirty way to get it running most of the gum will burn off use after run or even 3 n 1 oil after you run it. keep in mind engine will be hot as heck out of oven so use rags to handle motor. if you choose to take it apart it'll be easier to disassemble know that it moves freely.

my idea for after run oil is marvel mystery oil, wall mart has 16 and 32 oz. its hard to find the one gal sizes. some auto parts houses has one gal. allso its good for your gasoline street truck, in the gasoline, but i wouldnt put it in the street truck crankcase. mmo doesn't have a pressureized can any more, i found a wd-40 hand spray bottle to put the mmo in, when you are are done bashing take the air filter off and squart two pumps in the intake, and spin the nitro engine over for a few seconds, dont put more in it will be hard to start. when you take the nitro engine apart use permatex ultra slick engine assembly lube item # 81950 to lube the inside parts, when you start it, it will smoke for a while so dont worry. any good auto pars house should be able to get it for you. #81950 is good for ball bearings also.

i used after run oil and it started hard after a few weeks ... i will have to try the mystery oil i put that stuff in my street truck mud truck in the gas and crankcase... it made my street truck not smoke as bad when started it got 200,000 mile on it to.

take the head and manifold off and carb and spray some brake or carb cleaner inside the motor and try to turn it over with channel locks gripping the flywheel

on my street trucks mmo makes them start faster. also mmo has one product for gasoline and an other for diesel. so dont put the gas one in a diesel. it works good on r/c air filters all so. back to street trucks, ampco makes a jar that you put mmo in and it feeds oil it into the intake manafold, and lubes the valves, may take some time to get it adjusted. back to r/c stuff, however i would NOT run mmo in to a nitro engine. (but i do use it as a after run oil) why? cause castor oil does just fine. sorry about being a little off subject.
