So I need to seal my engine. I'm at my dad's work and I find that he has something called Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant. It's made by Permatex. On the back it says all purpose. Would this work to help seal my engine? LMK. Thanks!
 
Engine sealant must be;
1) Oxygen sensor safe, otherwise it is corrosive to aluminum.
2) Rated at least to 300F
Everything you seal must be oil/grease free for it to adhere properly. Allow it to dry for at least 12hours.
 
Oh yeah, I forgot about those things. Thanks for reminding me. Thanks! I guess I was to eager to do it easily.
