I was out running last night and all of a sudden the wheels quit hooking up and all of a sudden stopped. The engine revs up and everything but it will not move. The dogbones are moving when I put it on the ground and push it though. Does this sound like a differential problem? clutch? I'm not sure what it is. Any advice as to what to look for?

So you can roll the truck? Spin the spur gear and see if the clutchbell spins too. Could be a clutch shoe or spring. If that's not it, might want to look into the diffs or tranny.

Could also be a stripped spur gear or clutch bell, more than likely a spur gear unless you upgraded to the metal spur, if not then look into the diffs or tranny

lol, make sure that ur clutchbell is actually touching the spur gear!!!;)

is this on a savage????? if so check your rims to see if they have beened stripped out...

Theres no real answer... you just have to take the time and check every single poing of contact and see whats loose. Start at the engine and work your way down to each wheel one by one. May just be a loose set screw or somthing easy if you're lucky.
Be patient, check everything once and you should easily find your problem

thanks for the info everyone. I'll have some time to look into it tonight. I'm thinking its probably the clutch shoes or something. I can manually turn the 15t clutch bell and the thing will move. so it sounds like the clutch might have something to do with it.

hey..

tighten your wheels..sounds like it makes no sense but this is what happened to me, they kept coming loose, locktight...

ya its sounds most deffinitley like you're clutch show springs, maybe if you're spinniung the clutch bell and the wheel moves, thats about the onlu thing it could be or maybe take a peek and make sure the crankshaft it biting the cluth, i dont no take iot to a professional
