RC Driving Style
Hey guys,

I just blew the crap out of my trx 3.3 and now I need a new engine. I've been looking at the Picco .26 Max and the OS .21 TM. Dose anyone have either of these engines and does anyone have any better suggestions? I'll post pics once I choose and buy one. Thanks alot. BTW money isn't an issue. I want a mega uber truck. :D
 
i have the picco 26 max in t maxx and its just unreal it is super fast, easy to tune and very reliable the down side is due the large amounts of compression in these engines they break pull starts very easy but i found an easy solution to the pull starts breaking i just glued the one way bearing into the pull start and i haven't broke one in over 6 months

i say go for a picco 26 max
 
I have the OS.21 drops right in....Tons of power and very very easy to tuned I run my alittle fat. either way its up to you....The only draw back they consume alot of fuel...Oh yeah i do run the EZ start on mine as well
 
Wow two similar arguments. This is gonna take awhile haha.
 
I think the 21TM is the replacement for the maxx. But I think I'm gonna go with the Picco. Read a lot of rave reviews.

I'm not saying any negative about the picco, but i am interested to know how you gathered your info. have you owned both mills? i have the os .18tm in my revo and later down the road when it gives out i wouldnt hesitate for a second to pick up the .21tm. everyone i know loves the .18tm and the only negative I've heard about the .21tm was when people were putting duratrash roto starts on them(something with the owb). never heard any issue with durability or performance out of any os engine.


BTW theres a real nice tmaxx drop in for sale here in the FS/FT forum, sirio .18 from a top notch seller. check it out.
