Hello all

I have a force .15 engine with a standard muffler and one of those fuel tanks with an in built primer

The engine is around 1ltr (i beleve thats around half a gallon old), the thing keeps cutting out, from cold i get about 3-5mins out of it then i start having troubles. I put it on the ground it starts and goes for a bit then cuts out, i then prime and prime and it will run again, then maybe a few seconds later it wont go, when it starts doing this it is also real hard to start, i have tried richening it up, I'm thinking something may be stoping the fuel but i dont know what, if its getting real hot could this cause it,

In the last few days it has never gone this good....

its getting colder out, you will have to richen up your settings. to me it sounds like a classic overheating engine. I'm betting its really hard to prime to restart too, this is because the engine is soo hot its boiling off the fuel before it gets into the carb. pick yourself up a temp gun or meter of your preference and make sure your not overheating the engine. once you have this ruled out, let us know if its still causing problems.

I am agreeing with CorradoPsi. You seem to be having a tuning issue. I take it that right off the bat you have full power available to you? No bogging or hesitation from the engine?

Try checking this article from RC NITRO.

If you try this properly and you still have problems then I would suspect an air leak somewhere but lets try one thing at a time.

Let us know

Jon
