Hello, i need some help with my revo engine.
Is there any cheep things you can do to increase the engines preformance?
Anothe thing, when i slow down to a stop the engine cinda runs on a high
idle speed but after a few secunds the engine goes back to the normal
idle speed.

Dunno about performance mods, but your idle issue sounds like your low speed needle is too lean.

Wait, no, I think if you get a motor saver filter it lets more air in the engine which will boost performance.

I tried to put some lights on my revo and it works like a charm.
1. disasemble a flaslight with a generator in it(have to be a spinning generator).
2. mount the light werever you want them.
3. mount the generator on the gearboxtow.(there are normaly a toe on the generator so you might have to mount a rubberwheel on the generator).
attach the microchip and you're done.

If it's the stock 3.3 or 2.5R you can ad the traxxas resonator pipe and it'll do better, or you can put that pipe on any engine about that size. But if you go to a lhs there's a nitro book put out by rc car action:
http://www.rcstore.com/ME2/dirmod.a...&ntier1=Books&ntier2=&ntier3=&ntier4=&ntier5=
and as i remember, w/o having the book in front of me, it has a section on internal modifications FOR THE EXPERIENCED (did i emphasize that enough?). It's a great book to get anyways.
Besides doing your own modifications, Sirio used to put out a replacement piston and sleeve set to "add a little Italian power" to your 2.5r but i don't know of you can still find it.
